Best regards, Paul Tootill
Paul, I am having the same problem. Does it only happen with your direct domain? It is not happening if I type in my webnode URL, but when I type in my own domain URL. I have sent an email to support. Hopefully, we can get this resolved quickly!
Yes, exactly the same.....
I'm facing the same problem. The webnode url works fine, however the masked and forwarded domain name url results in this error 'This content cannot be displayed in a frame'. The problem started about a week ago. Prior to that it would display the masked and forwarded domain name url fine. I've written to the support team for a reply. Will update you if I hear from them.
Did you get their reply? This is what was sent to me:
You can transfer your domain to Webnode in administration of your project in "Domain management" section. It is the easiest way to use your domain under your project – we will then take care of all technical details. If you don’t want or can’t transfer domain to webnode, you can assign your domain to your project. In this case users need to setup DNS records, which can quite difficult process, especially for non-technical users"
Any ideas from here?
Got the same message by the way. So I did all this "If you don’t want or can’t transfer domain to webnode, you can assign your domain to your project. In this case users need to setup DNS records, which can quite difficult process, especially for non-technical users"
and still have the .webnode.com in there. It's actually messing with search engines that we pay for as well as advertising services.
I'm now getting this error as well with a simple redirect. I have register.com redirecting to this website and i get the error no matter what browser redirects (IE, Firefox, Safari..). When i type in the full webnode address there are no issues.
I have been having the same problem, and got the same response form technical support. I have attempted to go into the control panel of my other provider to change the CNAME a few times and it never works. Although I can change the CNAME, I am unable to make a to change the FILES and it never redirects to my domain, just a blank page.
I've got the same problem. C'mon Webnode. What's going on?
Anyone have a workable solution yet? I have also contacted support who have obfuscated with the same stock reply as mentioned elsewhere. They haven't even fixed the bad spelling!
i just started getting the same message
¨This content cannot be displayed in a frame.¨ but i can still find my original url but not the domain i bought for it using godaddy, under godaddy i fowarded the domain using masking and it worked fine for a few weeks until it just randomly stopped working. All it does is redirect me to my project under its old domain which isn´t what i want any suggetions? Can anyone help or give me the answer?
